09 Aug Processing Emotional Pain

There is no way to get around the pain that life, and simply being human, brings us. Sometimes we need to face our pain and choose to pursue healing. Beyond it, we may find the colors of life are far more vibrant. Healing enables us to connect more completely with ourselves and others. It gives us the ability to empathize with people around us. Healing makes us more grateful. And these results are only a few of the benefits to actively going after the healing of our pain.

Dealing with any kind of pain, especially emotional pain, may seem overwhelming. But Agave Sozo (part of the Bethel Sozo Network) believes in the power of inner healing ministry to overcome depression, defeat, and the causes of emotional pain. We’ve helped people from all over the valley (Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale) find freedom from plaguing emotional pains. Through Agave Sozo, the testimonies of healing can become your personal experience of release from pain.

Things That Can Cause Emotional Pain Or Distress

While reading this blog post, a list of hurtful life situations may have come to mind. Here are some causes that can lead to emotional pain:

  • A broken heart
  • Discontentment
  • Feeling stuck
  • Abandonment
  • Rejection
  • Loss – Death of a loved One (friend, family member, spouse, pet)
  • Abuse – emotional, physical, spiritual, mental
  • Persecution/Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Losing a job/Unemployment
  • Unanswered prayers
  • Loneliness
  • Misunderstandings/Not being understood
  • Illness/Sickness/Disease
  • Dysfunction
  • Disability
  • Aging

Pain Can Lead To Questions

We’ve probably all gone through at least one of the above situations, and some of us may have experienced several of these causes. The pain we’ve suffered as a result can create internal confusion and sadness and provoke questions like:

  • How do I get better? Can I get better?
  • How do I let go?
  • How do I move forward?
  • How can I rise above this?
  • How can I heal?

If you’re a Christian, you may also be asking poignant questions that relate to God:

  • Is God able to take this pain away?
  • Can He actually heal me?
  • Does He even care?

The great news is that you don’t have to live forever with the resulting pain of these (or other) life situations. Know you are not alone, and there is help for letting go of your pain and finding freedom. There is hope that you can experience freedom, and there are answers to your questions! Please contact us if you’d like to schedule an appointment. Our team at Agave Sozo in Chandler Arizona would love to be a part of your healing journey!
